Reid H. Everett has over 25 years experience representing local, regional, national, and international business, banking, and insurance institutions throughout Central California in business and litigation matters related to real and personal property secured lending, commercial law, and all aspects of creditor/debtor relations including loan workouts, receivers and receiverships, and creditors' rights in bankruptcy

Mr. Everett received his Juris Doctorate from Brigham Young University J. Reuben Clark Law School in 1981, graduating cum laude.  While in law school, he was a member of Phi Delta Phi and the Brigham Young University Journal of Legal Studies.  He received a Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University in 1978, graduating magna cum laude.  While pursuing his undergraduate studies, he was a member of Phi Kappa Phi.  Mr. Everett was admitted to practice law in California in 1981, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court Eastern, Central, Northern and Southern Districts of California and the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.  He is proficient in German.

A Fresno native and an active member of the local legal community, Mr. Everett is co-founder of the Fresno County Bar Association, where he has served as co-chair of the Business Law and Real Property sections.  He is also a member of the State Bar of California, where he served as an Appointed Member to the Debtor and Creditor Relations and Bankruptcy Committee (1990-1992) and the Agribusiness Committee (2001-2006).  He is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Central California Bankruptcy Association, the California Bankruptcy Forum, the American Agricultural Law Association, and the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association,
